You might want to start researching what you are looking for. It takes a lot of time to be successful and by doing the research you can find out what you really want and what you can really afford.

yeah i mean it's the internet age, you have access to everything right now. In a situation like this i would get all my info i can first, then ask stuff that is not online.

google "delaware zipcodes" and get a small list of the areas your looking for

go to realtor.com or something similar and perform your searches on the zip codes. take note of the neighborhoods listed.

then come here and ask about those areas, cause that info usually isnt online, and we can probably help you a lot.

Before I contacted a realtor, I did a lot of research. Looked at houses online. Started at Realtor.com. Checked on mapquest how far it was from where I live because I want to travel back for family. Checked the aerial views of the properties. Decided on square footage I wanted and got a general idea. E-mailed and spoke with different realtors with questions. Checked into new homes and property sizes. Hubby and I spent about 6 hours a day for about a month before we decided. Then we chose a realtor we felt comfortable with that gave us the most information and respect. Some don't even follow-up from your initial contact. It is a lot of legwork. That legwork makes it easier for the realtor to know what you want and makes it easier for you to limit yourself. We also checked into all the schools after we decided what area we were looking for. You might also want to check into houses of worship, if that is important for you, your spouse and/or your children. I hope this helps
