Can anyone in New Castle County or Kent County identify this roofless building that was near the water? You don't have to know the name of the business/owner. I'm just trying to figure out if it was a bar, restaurant or some kind of club when it was operational and where I took the photo? The photo was taken in May 2017. It may have been near Augustine Beach. I've been there since then but the building shell isn't there. It could have been demolished in between visits or it could have been somewhere else in Delaware where I took the photo. I'm about 90 percent sure it wasn't in Sussex County. Thanks in advance, even if you don't know.

That's the last property on the right in Woodland Beach, Kent County (Smyrna, DE) before you get to the Bay. It was a very large building. When I was a kid, my parents went to that tavern to enjoy themselves, while we kids splashed around in the Bay for a couple hours. That parcel was in the process of being a new restaurant, but I think plans have stalled.

Thanks. Yes, I was to Woodland Beach that year. Knowing it was a tavern will help me label it for a contest later this year. Right now I can't rep you again but I'll be back.

Another source for that building's use....It may have been Blendt's Restaurant, but that goes back in time also. I do know the zoning on that property is Business/Commercial, and the building is on a large parcel of land.
