I am currently staying in the "Residences" services apartments in downtown Wilmington where I work. I am paying around $70 a day. I am looking for something a little more cost effective, but where the term is flexible - say month by month. I don't necessarily need serviced, or furnished, but something comfortable and clean - so I don't think the Y (e.g.) is suitable. Any ideas?

Default Downtown living

How is it living downtown? I am looking into moving into the Marriott Execustay as well. How is the parking situation, and how safe is it in the area where the hotel is generally? Please let me know any information so I can decide if I want to pursue living there or not.

The only other option would be to find an apartment within the city or outside of it and ask them if there management company offers short term lease options or something month to month. They may just accomodate your request.

I believe the same company that manages the Greenville Apartments has a short-term lease apartment building, originally catering to the temp executive crowd in town. With the economic downturn they be willing to negotiate something favourable. Try googling Greenville Apartments and look over the webpage and its links.

Living at the execustay is OK. I've been here for almost 2 months. I get the cleaning service every 2 weeks. The apartments are comfortable, but the place is very quiet. I walk to and from work every day. Not much to do at night. I have found the area very safe. Car parking is 1 block away at a rate of $150 per month.

I had an appointment with Pettinaro on Sat at 10.30am. They let me down and forgot my appointment...

I will probably stay at execustay for another month.
