Whenever I think of Georgetown, I think of return day Return Day Celebration A very cool tradition that exemplifies this small state.

The Court of Chancery (I believe it's called) meets in Georgetown and rules on all sorts of corporate law cases. Since there are so many international corporations incorporated under DE law, I understand Georgetown sometimes sees all these high powered international corporate lawyers and execs descending on the place -- something you wouldn't expect in a small county seat.

Naysayers contend that the chicken farming around that part of Sussex County is the source of foul odors.

BTW, to whomever said that there is a fecal sort of odor in Hockessin, I smelt this several times yesterday for the first time when we were out there to go to Woodside Farms Cremery (fortunately didn't smell any of the odor when we were actually at Woodside Farm). I feel certain it does have to do with mushroom farming and is probably blowing in mostly from nearby PA. It was quite humid yesterday, which may have contributed.
