Hey all, my plan was park (for 2-3 days) in the $11 per day long term parking at the philadelphia airport and catch the septa from there into the city to catch my bus out of town. My question is can I park in long term parking without any kind of ticket or anything? Can't really imagine they would care I just don't want to find out that its gonna be crazy expensive when I go to leave because I didn't actually fly or something.

I've had enough fun with PPA already and want no more.

You should be just fine without a plane ticket. Another option would be to park in a lot nearby. We use Colonial Parking whenever we travel to/from PHL. It saves us time and money and no hassle with waiting for the airport bus. They drop us off right at the terminal and on the return take us right to our car. Never had to wait for a shuttle either. There are several parking lots in close proximity to the airport just pick the one that is most convenient for you.

Express Park charges $6.35 per day with a coupon. Shuttle takes you to the airport and picks you up. Coupons are usually in the ValuePak.

Excellent advice. We use Fasttrack, but it's the same deal as the other posters have said. No reason to pay for long term parking.

My husband travels frequently for business. He used to avoid going out of PHL because of the hassles with the long term parking there. Now he prefers PHL to BWI because using a shuttle service it takes less time, is less costly and can't beat the service . Coming from DE we use Colonial Airport Parking because of it's location south of the airport. The online coupon makes it $9 per day including all taxes and if you travel frequently you can ask for a punch card that makes every 9th trip free.

I'd personally park on a nicer street in Upper Darby and take the el into the city. Then again, I like to pretend that I'm tight with my money.

Which Raddison and how much is the shuttle? Depending on location, this might be a great option for the OP.
