Has anybody used it on their own teeth? How do you find a dentist who uses this (it would seem to eliminate a big source of income for them)? I read about it last year and it seems to work quite well, and I personally would much prefer this to the drill and fill!!

Promising if the decay is only in enamel, but if it's into the dentin that's another story.
I love how people think dentists ONLY do this for money and will only go in if they are in pain because they refuse to get "elective" treatment. Maybe there are some out there that genuinely care for your oral health and quality of life.

Those are the same people who refuse to go for preventative checks. That's why they're in pain. If they had prevented the dental problems in the first place, they wouldn't need to wait until the only option is surgery.
