I had to have Two teeth pulled (side by side) about a week ago that were both abscess. The pain after surgery has gotten a bit stronger every day since. Today, a week later, I am having neck, shoulder and ear pain. The teeth next to the location of the teeth that were pulled are extremely sensitive and sore. The pain I felt before surgery has basically returned. What should I do? Should I even be concerned?
I have been there and done that. Oral infections can be very serious. You must go and have the dentist check and see if STRONGER antibiotics are needed. They make antibiotics just for infections in the mouth. I cant emphasize enough how important it is that you quickly be seen because these types of infections can spread very quickly.
Best thing to do is visit an oral surgeon for an exam. There could be dozens of issues.
