He took his time and was meticulous with the mold, setting the crown in place and grinding it so it wasn't too high so it would fit perfectly. I've had no problems with it and it feels and fits like a natural tooth. I know that's a lot of money but seeing the work that went into it and the results I can't begrudge it.
Was this work done by the dentist in Miami that you recommended to me?

Zirconia is the likely material. Common brand name for the crown type is BruxZir.

No, this was our current dentist in Punta Gorda.

Though I can tell you if we still lived in Miami we'd still go to the dentist you're talking about. It's just that especially with some dental issues a three hour drive to see a dentist is a mite far. I'm just glad we found someone we like that much here.

BruxZir- that's the one. I remember the dentist mentioned "Brux"-something, I just didn't catch the name. This was to replace a previous crown in that location that had broken ( last top left molar) the dentist said by the molar on the bottom left hitting the crown with that big time bite I have. He spent a lot of time filing down that crown after it was put in to make it the right height not to hit the bottom tooth, and he also filed down the molar below it, to keep me from breaking or cracking the new crown. So far, so good.

Thanks for the info.
