I have been experiencing sensitivity to sweets on both sides of my mouth, on the top. Xrays were taken and the dentist says there are no cavities but my wisdom teeth should come out. He says there is not enough room for them in my mouth and that this is likely the cause of my sensitivity. There is no pain or sensitivity coming from my wisdom teeth, the sensitivity is further forward. If my wisdom teeth are actually the cause of my sensitivity, can I expect the sensitivity to go away after extraction? How long after?

It could. Most of the time people do not know that their wisdom teeth came in because it is under the gum. You should eat soft foods that are at a regular temperature. you should use sensitive tooth paste and go to a dentist and asked about that. After taking help of dentist it could be far in a short time.

Most of the cases teeth sensitivity occurs because the protective layer on the teeth is worn away. I can suggest you some tips to reduce teeth sensitivity. Always use toothpaste that is made for sensitive teeth. Totally avoid acidic foods and drinks like red wine, fruit juice and orange.
