My dentist has recommended Invisalign to straighten out my teeth, and perhaps for other reasons too (it was briefly mentioned. I have a follow up appointment to discuss in more detail). One thing that did surprise me was he said with this treatment, I wouldn't need an implant (it would've been to put a tooth in the spot that's missing one). Does this seem, feasible? Anybody have experiences with using Invisalign (or other related treatment) to just be able to cover the gap left by a missing tooth? Again, there's a consultation appointment coming up, but I'd like to get more thoughts on this regardless.
