Hello Everybody. I am suffering from a bad odour coming from my mouth and also when i am breating from my nose. It is a very difficult time for me because i had to stop college for that. I am a pretty and social person but people turn away from me immediately they detect this smell from me. I spend most of my time alone crying because i do not know where this smell is coming from and how to cure it. I brush and clean my teeth everytime but the smell increases after using a mouthwash. In the bus or train people start coughing and sneezing even though i dont open my mouth. Its like the smell is now on my whole body? Oooo My God i do not have friends because i am afraid they will hate me when they smell it from me. sometimes i feel like to go out talk to people, but when i remember my situation i stay at home and watch movie. Please somebody help me
First go see a dentist. If the dentist detects no problems, then go see an ear/nose/ throat specialist.
It sounds like you have a massive infection- could be teeth, could be sinuses - could any number of things. But you have to seek treatment- it's not going to go away by itself. You need medical attention.
There might not be anything physically wrong. Sometimes severe depression can bring about a sensation like a strange taste in the mouth... in any case, it's a good idea to see a doctor so that they can rule out any mouth/nose problem. If it's a sensation that would disappear with antidepressants, it's worth it for you to try them and find out. Good luck.
Do you eat the same type of pungent food all the time? If not, then set up appointments for a dentist AND a doctor. You shouldn't be smelling like this.
Is this relatively new? It could be a bacterial overgrowth, maybe sinus issues, gingivitis, dry mouth, etc. I agree that a dentist would be your first stop, followed by a visit to your PCP.
