I love those things! I also use a WaterPik and floss. I'd hoped to not need the floss but as Old Gardener stated, picks can't replace floss. The dental hygienist was very specific about that. But the brushes are fantastic after meals when eating out when true brushing isn't possible and in addition to the rest of the routine.
It's a conspiracy! The floss people have been getting rich off us!
Oh I've used the flossing thread for a long time, and still do under a couple bridges when I feel like it and I don't see a need for a sarcasm but many can't resist. Thanks.
Oh and often the brush pick works under a bridge, in my mouth anyway.
Many of my teeth are really tightly close together. Brush pick-type things don't fit between all of them. Floss does. If I'm sitting down watching a movie I may use a brush pick to roam around after a meal, floss still does a more thorough job.
Floss with one of those floss fork things that has replaceable horseshoe shaped floss things. Water pik and brush. My hands are too big to get into my mouth with traditional floss. THe water pik hits the inside and outside and the floss tool hits the sides.
Always use Oral B (always ask the dentist for a couple extra and use one at work).
