Part of the reco I got, was to use a tongue scraper just prior to bed, to rake off the colonies of bacteria left on the tongue, so there is less bacteria to multiply while sleeping,
Of course if you prefer to brush, sure, pour a bit into a glass, wet toothbrush and dip into baking soda and go at it...it's also good to whiten teeth, removing coffee stains and the like with ease......
