Am seeing the dentist soon and trying not to get my hopes up. I seem to have slightly chipped a front tooth. It's hardly visible but I can feel it with my tongue. Do they have a way to buff it down, preferably without Novocain? It feels like it just needs a slight filing/buffing to make it smooth again. It's really bugging me.

I have a moderately chipped Front lower tooth that happened when I was around 10. The dentist fixed it with filling material and it lasted around 20 years before needing repair again. I just had it repaired for the second time and looks perfect.

See what the dentist recommends.
