Veneer on just one lateral incisor? (teeth, dentist, side, broken)

I was gritting my teeth in anger a couple years ago and chipped my right lateral incisor (number 7), and my teeth otherwise look ok, but I feel like that one tooth being broken, especially since the "fix" the dentist did at the time where he ground the tooth at a funny angle, my symmetry is off for me smile, and I'm considering getting a veneer on that one tooth to lengthen it back out so it matches the other side. What I worry about, though, is since veneers stain differently than natural teeth, won't it be really noticeable after a few years that I got a veneer on that tooth?

Should I save up to do a full set of veneers instead, even though the problem is mainly just one tooth?
I have a full set of veneers, top and bottom and they look great. I've had them for about ten years and they don't stain at all. I think you might actually be worrying about your natural teeth surrounding the veneer staining instead of the veneer staining.
Unless your other teeth are crooked or otherwise unattractive, I would not have veneers put on teeth where they're not necessary just to match that one tooth. A slight difference in the color isn't going to be noticeable and your teeth will look more natural than if all the teeth are the exact same color.
