I will be moving to the Denver area next year and have been trying to do my homework on aparments. I need a cheap, 1BR or studio apartment around Cherry Creek, Lakewood, Aurora, Glendale, Thornton or any other close to downtown area as possible. I'm looking for something under $500/month(which I know doesn't get me far) with washer and dryer connections. I also have a small dog so allowing pets is a must! I would prefer not having to pay a monthly pet rent, but if I must then I will. I also would like to have a patio/ balcony. Being in an active community with a lake, walking trails, shops, resturants, and a good night life are all kind of important but can somewhat be compromised with. The apartments I have found which I thought looked like great prospects ended up being doozies and having HORRIBLE reviews! I know for the money I have to send I can't be overly picky but I'm going to shoot for the best with what I have to work with! If you need anymore info just let me know! Thank you for your input!

Oh so excited!
Em

North Capital Hill, is as cheap and as close to Downtown as you are going to get. And you are right, you can't overly picky. Which BTW you are being.
