I'm moving to Westminster, CO to study at Front Range Community College. I am worried a little bit, because I've never visted Colorado my entire life, so how's the weather their? Is Westminster, CO safe or does it has high rate crimes? What does the town has to offer if I wanted to have fun? How far is Westminster from Denver? Any suggestions on good 1-2 Bedroom apartments near Front Range Community.

Looking forward for some good responses.

Thanks

Westminster is a suburb of Denver, so pretty easy to get to downtown/LoDo for nightlife. Doubt there's much of that in Westminster. Also, weather is the same as Denver, generally, so when you see information about Denver you can apply that to Westminster.

Weather and crime have been discussed at length on this forum, just do a search and you will find all sorts of good information.

I live in Westminster for ten more days before I move to Boulder and went to that FRCC on 112th Ave for some transfer credits. Westminster is a nice suburb of Denver, its actually closer to Boulder than Denver and you might find yourself going there to have fun... with 25000 college students its not hard to have a good time in Boulder. Westminster has some great biking, the AMC Promenade 24 Area, New shopping centers and is totally safe from Church Ranch through Federal and in many other areas, and theres a lot to do here as well.

As for apartments, use craigslist.
