I'm planning to move to Evergreen and would like to get an idea of how long the average commute takes from Brook Forest (near the Brook Forest Inn) to I-70 or from the Evergreen Highlands neighborhood (off Turkey Creek) to 285. I'm hoping to keep my commute to downtown around 45 minutes (in good weather) and it generally takes me 30 minutes from El Rancho to downtown or 30 minutes from 285 near Indian Hills to downtown. Is that doable or should I stay closer to I-70 or 285?

Brook Forest Estates is much more out there than sticking close to either I-70 or the 285 corridor. South Evergreen might be a better choice off of Turkey Creek. We live in Conifer 5 minutes from Hwy 285 and it takes us 35 minutes to get to downtown in good weather and no traffic.

I am looking at a house in north evergreen (close to I-70) and will be commuting to LoDo. I will be getting to work about 8:15 or so and wouldn't head back until after 6:30 pm. Worried about the commute. Anyone who drives this please weigh in. Thanks.

The West Corridor rail line will be finished in 2013, and I believe planned to have a large Park and Ride near the Jefferson Co Government Center station (final stop) for commuters

While it may not be faster some days the commute time using light rail is more predictable, and will be an efficient way from Golden to downtown

I'm looking in the same area and it never takes me more than 30-35 minutes even during afternoon rush hour from Lodo to Evergreen Parkway unless it's snowing. I'm not sure about the morning commute time but it seems like it would be similar.
