Need help narrowing down an area, please (Colorado Springs, Littleton: RV parks, schools)

Hello. I'm considering a move to Colorado for several reasons. I am a single mom of an eight year old little girl, so school systems and family-friendly areas are key.

I am an equine/canine behaviorist and plan to do horseback riding lessons and provide in-home dog training. I also do motivational speaking, so I want to be in an area where commuting to speaking engagements wouldn't be too difficult.

I have friends who live in Littleton, so I'd like to be within a day's driving distance of them as well.

My ideal locale would be just on the outskirts of town, with capability and ease of driving to town for shopping, restaurants, etc..

Places which have horse stables/farms are going to be key as well. (I don't know which areas have such farms/ranches, and would love help finding out).

We'll be staying in our RV until we settle down and find a place to put down roots, RV parks I've found are in the Colorado Springs area...??

Any advice on where to start my search would be greatly appreciated.

My cousin is a horse person and lives in Elizabeth. Many dog breeders also live there, because they keep both dogs and horses. But the schools are bad out there.
