We are moving to south Aurora in June. However we are taking the girls out ( ages 18 months, 7, and 13) to come out and see Denver. What are the must do things?

The Denver Zoo and the Museum of Nature and Science are both good places. If you like soccer, the CO Rapids is the local pro team and their stadium is great...not a bad seat in the place. Tickets are pretty inexpensive and you can get family 4-packs (which you can add a 5th ticket to) for $49 to some games that includes food/drink as well. A hike at Red Rocks amphitheater is always a great thing as well. Have fun on your visit!

There is a really interesting Wildlife Museum in Parker. I'm actually thinking of signing my older kids up for a summer camp there so I've done some research.

There is also:

The Butterfly Pavilion in Broomfield (some kids freak out when the come close though).
Dinosaur Ridge near Morrison -- Real dinosaur tracks.
Pirates Cove Waterpark -- for the summer, and geared towards smaller kids.
Centennial Center Park -- trust me, the kids will love it and it's free.

Definitely check out the Denver Museum of Nature and Science. It's the largest museum between Chicago and Los Angeles. They get great temporary exhibits too so it is always changing.

Go hiking. Tons of trails everywhere.

My favorite: go to Bonnie Brae Ice Cream, then over to Washington Park. They will love the city after this stop.

I would go to the Bonnie Brae Tavern for a very different style of pizza and then across the street to BB Ice Cream (check out Sinfully Cinnamon).
One of the reasons we moved to Bonnie Brae in 1985 was for the Tavern and Ice Cream.

I love that circuit. Their cinnamon is my favorite as well. Something about the ice cream at that place.....it's just better than anywhere else.

Another area to consider for a hike is Castlewood Canyon State Park. It's typically not as crowded as most of the other areas but it's an interesting place nonetheless.

You can hike around the canyon rim or along the canyon floor and you'll see plenty of wildlife.
