I do. I worked on many of the tract homes in the late 90s they were built the absolute cheapest they could build them. I could go on all day long with stories about the low quality of them.

For someone who likes alkaline desert I guess.

Parks, trees, and community are valuable to some people.

Something tells me you've never been to Erie. "Alkaline Desert" indeed! Erie has parks trees and community. It has its own schools. It has a rec center.

I have been there a few times, I guess the main drag just gets dwarfed by the wide open desert. Most of the homes I have been to there were just subdivisions in the middle of a filed surrounded by tumble weeds and dirt.

Very awesome view of the mountains though. I bet you could see some great sunsets from a place with a view.

Where are you getting this "desert" business? It's formerly open prairie, like Broomfield, Thornton and Westminster to the south of Erie.

I guess I am a little confused in the realm of -Prairie vs Desert/Steppe vs Desert-

So is it Desert on the foothills that turns into Prairie as you go into the plains ?

I am confused on the boundaries.. Out at Pawnee grasslands it is totally prairie but around much of the Denver area you still have yucca, cactus with a few cedars.

Please enlighten me.
