Any Jews here?

I recently moved here to Denver and am looking for a Sephardic temple to occasionally visit and visit for holidays, not interested in an ashkenazi temple. My background is parsim (persian) but any sephardic temple would do, I am located inside Denver downtown leaning toward west colfax, and I passed by a Jewish neighborhood the other day when doing groceries but noticed they are ultra-orthodox and probably practice ashkenazi customs.

Also to the people of Denver, is it safe to wear a kippah daily here in Denver, especially in downtown area? Is there lots of anti-semitism, do you think i'll be safe wearing one or its best not to wear?

thanks.

I'm not sure where there's a specifically Sephardic temple - though I highly recommend Temple Emanuel if you're flexible - but there isn't a lot of anti-Semitism here, at least none that I've run into. I doubt anybody would think twice if you were wearing a kippah downtown.

Nobody will care about you being jewish so much as you care about ashkenazim

I'm Israeli, but not that religious. Everyone knows I'm Jewish, nobody cares. It's pretty progressive here in Denver.

Now, as for the rest of CO... well... I can say I know people from Greeley and from Sterling and both are very very pro Israel for what it's worth. I can't speak for the rest of the state though

In my area, I see Jewish men with the long curly sideburns (don't know what branch that would be, sorry) and their prayer shawls walking around all the time. I've never seen anybody bother them.

Thank you all for the comforting replies, I guess it's nothing to worry about.

I also found a bukharian sephardic temple which I will be visiting probably, its on Mississipi road here in Denver.

Thanks
