I have a decent job lead in Denver I'll probably get, and of course I'll need to get there asap. At the moment, I'd rather split a rent, what's the best place to find a roommate in town?

Craigslist, for starters.

There may be other venues for finding roommates and I'm sure that those who know them will chime in later.

Craigslist is definitely the best and offers the highest number of legit listings. Most other sites either want you to pay, have a bunch of old stuff, or just copy from Craigslist.

You can also try looking at Roommate Shop. (It's part of Housing Helpers.)

I am also looking for a roommate...and no one from Craigslist has gotten back to me. Hopefully you will have better luck - the price/location combo they post would definitely be a great way to go, especially until you figure out something more long term/permanent.
Roommates.com website is shady. I closed my account within 30 hours - stay away from that one.
