You like hiking with your dogs. The culture here is one of being active. People also love their gods here. Sounds like you'll fit right in =]

Now I won't lie...it might not be easy, but if you're a relatively happy person and you let your enthusiasm show, I think you'll be just fine. People value positivity here.

Welcome (in advance) to Denver!

Welcome to the area. You may find being active at this elevation burns off some of those calories, and the men who like BBW (big beautiful women) have been waiting for options. It shouldn't be all bad. Hope you love it.

Colorado's obesity rate was 21.3% in 2014. It may be the state with the lowest obesity percentage, but
but 21.3% is not a rarity at all. And that doesn't even take into account the overweight population. You'll be fine!

I used to think Southern California was all about the beautiful. But once I went for a visit to a family member and was amazed at all the normal including obese that were there. I didn't see anymore drop dead gorgeous there than anywhere else I've ever been. You'll be fine in Colorado.

Denver is apparently called Menver. With so many men there compared to women, no one will care. They will just be happy there's another woman lol.

Also, Denver is still a city, and cities usually tend to have more variation, or at least tokerance for it.

You see all kinds of couples and people in denver.

That is a misnomer if you actually look at the census.

Trust me, it's a better dating environment for women than say the NJ/NY area.

OP, I'm technically obese (just on the cusp between that and overweight). I haven't had any problems dating and the only places I feel out of place are in areas like an Athletica store. But let's face it, even if I was 30 pounds lighter, I'd still feel out of place there. Not my kinda thing.
