living way out in the no where lands of Arvada and it appears my ISP option is Century Link - what the hell only one cable/DSL provider off 64th? anybody know other ISP beside the satellite versions for Arvada?

Comcast/Xfinity probably.

not at my address being off 64/easley I would have thought someone would provide competition for CL.

I had the option of Century Link or Comcast. Century Link is utter crap with evenings and weekends which pretty much limits it to web pages, which take 6 seconds to load, only.

They said they had fiber where I am. Like H$LL I am getting my 20mbs in my agreement. It's worse than the service my parents get off of copper lines.

And it's not the wiring in my apartment, cause sometimes it is lightning fast (like at 7:00AM Sundays). It's just that Century overloads their network and won't upgrade.

It's seriously hard to believe that the US has the biggest and best tech scene, data centers companies, hardware manufacturers.... But our internet is still running on lines great grandpa installed before they even had trenching machines.
