A delicate question, I know.

But anyone have recommendations on therapists Denver/Aurora?

I'll manage my insurance later (I'm with PacificCare) but have you anyone to recommend and why.

thanks
PaCo Bella

I have used Helen Hand, psychologist, and really like her but many of them are full and you might have to ask around. She's in the book and might be able to refer you. You could also get in by calling the Denver Psychiatric Institute affiliated with CU Denver, they are Freudian and keep a list of analysts.
The APA also has a referral link on the web. You should screen them for specialty areas; you can do this by using prepared questions and a phone call.

Default Therapist--got one

Thanks esya!

After a few failed attempts getting things squared with my insurance, I contacted 3 on a list, spoke to 2 and started with one.

First session, so I'm still testing the waters. But thanks

PaCo

I used Jill Goding. She is in Lone Tree. She specializes in Womens and Children's issues, but also does divorce and domestic stuff. She is great and we had allot of success with my son while going through the divorce. She even managed to get my X-husband to look at his crap. She is full most of the time, so if she has a slot grab it. Only drawback is she does not take insurance, but does do sliding scale.
