Most other requirements are negotiable.
We would like to cap the home price at $650k
Lot size or house size?

Valid points. We're definitely not staking everything on the ratings provided by any single site. Nor for that matter on parent reviews online. People tend to post more often when they're pissed off.

A lot can and will change before they even get to elementary school. We were just intrigued by what seemed to be overall lower scores in the Denver area than where we currently live.

I was looking at homes in Arvada today and did see the schools rate well there. Good suggestion. Thanks.

IL2SOCAL, If you partner should end up with a job in the southern tech corridor, you would be in a good position to look for homes in Centennial and South/Southeast Aurora. Excellent schools in the Cherry Creek School District for all of these areas. Check out zips 80016, 80111, 80112, 80122.
