I am moving to Denver and need a cheap place to stay for 2-3 weeks. Does anyone know of a motel and the prices that they can pass on? Much appreciated.

What part of Denver, do you need to be on public transportation, and what's your definition of cheap?

Have you looked at airbnb? That's usually going to be a less expensive option. I'd be a bit nervous staying at any motel that's as cheap as that!

Have you ever Couchsurfed? Don't think we are allowed to post links for sites, don't know if that one is included, but just Google Couchsurfing. I have used it extensively and it's a great way to stay for free and make friends.

Yes, links to most sites are okay, a few aren't allowed and we'll filter them out if anyone links to them, like a specific company's realtor site or a site that competes with city-data. Links to eateries and lodging are fine unless it's your own business as we don't allow advertising one's own business.

Be careful of how cheap you go here. It can put you in bad situations. Where will you be working so we can guide you?

Well for reference I stayed in 2 Motel 6s back in October and each was like $58/night. There are a couple different ones in the Denver metro.
