Nope, definitely not the only one who finds it annoying! I swear sometimes they plug a segment for a longer combined period of time than the segment itself

I go with channel 4 in the morning, as they have good reporting and the best eye candy of all the local networks.

When I'm in town, I'm happy to see familiar faces on your local news. Some of these people have been on the air since the late '70s at least (Mike Nelson-weather; Marty Coniglio-weather, and more) They must love their jobs.

I stopped watching TV years ago. Maybe I'm old-fashioned, but I prefer reading and getting information from print. No voices, no hairdos, no small talk, no fake laughs, no commercials, etc.

Mike was hired by KUSA in 1991, Marty started with KCNC in 1990.

I read everyone else's reply before voting because I'm sort of embarrassed that I watch FOX. I was curious as to who the favorites are. I don't watch much TV but when I turn on the morning news I turn on 31. If it isn't on then channel 9.

But FOX you say? For a staunch die hard democrat. If I didn't know it was FOX I wouldn't be embarrassed by it. I would never watch their national news. Their local broadcast just seem like, well, local broadcast.

I do wish they weren't a FOX station though. It is embarrassing to admit to watching a FOX station.

OK. It seemed like they've been on-air longer than that. Nonetheless, they're both excellent weathermen.

I like channel both channel 2 and 31 for this very reason.

"I would never watch their national news (Fox News.)" Hmm, don't you want to see what the other side is saying at least?
