Thanks in advance!

Depends on what you're looking for politically. It seems MN is more Conservative these days than CO. In 2016, MN overall narrowly went for HRC at 1.5% and CO was at 4.9% for her. Which essentially means MN swung heavily Republican and CO didn't hold up as much as expected for Trump. Most polls signaled that he was around 2% striking distance of winning the CO, whereas MN was heavily favored for HRC and turned out to be very tight. See my attachment for more information.

If you want more Liberal voters, Broomfield is a good fit. If you're more Conservative then I'd take a look at Douglas County.

Aside all that, I can't speak for schools but my old office was in Broomfield, CO. It's a great area to be situated between Denver and Boulder but it feels more isolated than it should be and the weather had more extremes than Denver itself (EG: lot's of wind, more snow, severer thunderstorms.) I also recall 4G coverage on Verizon was a joke for some reason and there was horrible cell phone service.

We used to joke about that but more recently we began to realize there is probably some real truth to that. Big part of the reason we left the area was because there was some very odd stuff going on and that we were being lied to... particularly around the Jeffco (RMMA) airport area.

I'd suggest that not to buy in an unincorporated area with lots of available land and expect it to stay that way. I live in an unincorporated area in a very settled neighborhood (houses from the early 80s, lots of mature trees), and I haven't had any issues.
