Different strokes.
We went to a WRCA rodeo in The Springs in 2003. Really enjoyed it and may go back this year (2020). The one thing, besides the obvious (traffic), that I didn't like about this rodeo, was the length of it. May just go back and walk around, take photos/video, of the things outside the arena...….but, I did say "may".

BTW, some of the events in WRCA (ranch rodeo) are the same as done in pro-rodeo. Such as bronc riding and roping.

Another thing, these are the things that made us return to Colorado that Florida didn't have (or very little of).

I don’t consider Colospigs a small town at all.

Where did the name "Colospigs" come from? If that's what you call The Springs? Whatever. Funny, but a former supervisor of mine in Denver, who totally disliked the Denver Bronco's, called them "the donkeys".

Anyway, we did go to a PRCA rodeo in Evergreen and it was just "ok". Small town/city rodeos just don't do much for me.

Now, when you are talking about a ranch rodeo, are you talking about WRCA rodeo? That's what we went to.

The Pikes Peak or Bust Rodeo in C/S is one of the bigger ones too.

Colo. Spgs. — say it out loud as written. “Colospigs” has nothing to do with animals.

Evergreen is still not a small town. And it is not in ranching country.

By ranch rodeo, I am talking about cowboys who are professional in the sense that they actually herd and manage cattle as their real jobs.
