I did a 25 mi bike ride yesterday and today I have a scratchy throat (did a Covid home test to be sure it's not that). It feels similar to when I rented a bike in Beijing (and then wore a mask (pre-Covid) for the rest of the trip and had no issues).

Whoops! Should have looked more carefully. I apologize.

It's been awful lately, and I'm sure we're heading into a terrible summer fire season, which will make things worse. Any suggestions for an indoor air purifier?

This article suggests that the immediate, deleterious health effects of air pollution might be a more trenchant way to sell climate control legislation.
