We've finally gotten an offer accepted in Arvada. So now that we're in the process of getting the home, when we settle, we're going to want to make it our own.
We are completely new to CO. Does anyone have any suggestions on where we can find out about good painters and other residential remodel contractors?

ask your neighbors...both for recommendations and who to avoid.

ask a reputable architect and/or interior designer

angie's list and servicemagic.com are also good resources, but use those systems as a last effort. its not that they are bad, but the personal recommendation is always best!

I had some good recommendations from my realtor, so that's one route to go. But definitely get personal recommendations, their previous work speaks volumes.
