Hey,

I am moving to Denver in September from southern cali to start my master's in environmental policy, and was wondering if anyone knew of some environmental law firms or general companies in the area ao I might submit an application for an internship or job. I'm sure there are lots as Denver is a hot spot for conservation. Thank you so much for any help.

Default Environmental Consulting related companies

I work for one of the large engineering/design/environmental consulting companies. Almost all of the large, reputable firms have a large to major office in the Denver-metro area. There also are numerous offices/firms found in Boulder, Fort Collins, and Colorado Springs. Smaller firms don't seem to move people in and out as much, but you might have luck if someone likes you there, especially if you speak to someone personally. Try the link below to go through a list of firms in Colorado Environmental Jobs in Colorado -- EcoEmploy

Also don't forget the federal government agencies in your field. Many of these hire people for seasonal positons.

Good luck in your hunt.

Default Not sure if this is what you are looking for but...

Just went to an interview today for Environment Colorado. More about Activism, and as much as I believe in it, I am also about making a paycheck...So not sure if I'll take it. I mean, rent doesn't get paid on canvassing...But it's good that somebody is going out there.

On that note, they do offer higher positions to college Grads. Look them up online or in the phonebook.
