Denver's got a great swing dance scene - it's a good way to learn some basic lead/follow skills, and highly social, so you'll meet lots of people.

I agree!!! Denver is one of the tops in terms of Swing, Wish I could get out more, I used to go dancing at least 3 times a week for about 8 years way back when. I really need to get back to the Merc and The Denver Turnverine. Guess things change when you have kids lol. If you are at all interested in this scene I would go to the free classes given by David at the Denver Turnverine on Friday nights.
He is a great guy, and good teacher.

One thing to remember though, if you are wanting to drink and dance lol The swing scene is not going to be your scene, we don't drink that much.

To give you an idea of the swing scene itself. This is a youtube video of a very good friend of mine. I Met him right when he started dancing, and taught him a few things, now he is teaching me!!! Great kid.
