Hi,

I seem to have trouble finding a mechanic to replace my brakes. I did some research on Brakes plus and Just brakes and most of the reviews are very negative.

Could someone make a recommendation for a mechanic to replace my brakes?

I live in the Lone Tree Area. But willing to travel.

Is it experience you are looking for or a cheap price?

I don't live in Colorado but if it is experience you want there are several CHAINS that specialized in brake work. If you don't know the area that would be your best bet.

A brake crew at a brake store probably gets more experience in ONE week than a shade tree mechanic would in a year.

Replacing pads, calipers, and discs are almost as easy as changing your oil. Drum brakes are a little more challenging.

Anyways, check out BBB reports on some local shops and go from there.
