I am a women who lives in southern ca and I HAVE to go to a training in Denver early December. Since I'm from Sunny California I don't have the winter clothes necessary to wear in Denver's weather. Any suggestions on what I will need. I am on a budget , so I don't want to buy a lot of stuff I am most likely not going to use again. So I will be borrowing what I can and purchasing what I really have to., Any suggestions .....Please

Checkout thrift stores. Someone from a cold climate must have moved to sc.

Unless you're going to be outdoors a lot at night, you might be surprised how little extra you need. I spent a week in Denver in February and all I needed was a jacket that I wear in SoCal when it gets under about 55. Its not a heavy jacket by any means. I say borrow a jacket from a friend and if you get too cold, you can always buy a knit cap in Denver.

Is your training inside? How will you be getting from your hotel to the training place? I really wouldn't worry too much about jackets unless you know that you will be spending a lot of time outside (although who wouldn't want to in Denver?). Bring a sweater or two and plan to dress in layers.

You never know what the weather will be like in Denver. In early Dec., it can be in the 70s, or it can be in the 30s-40s. Seldom will it get much below 20 at night at that time of year, and it may not even get below freezing. Not real helpful, am I?

If you're staying at the same hotel where the training is, you won't be going outside much. Unless there's a lot of snow on the ground and you're doing a lot of walking around outside, you don't need more than a pair of tennis shoes for footgear. Your regular work clothes should suffice for the training, assuming you have some long-sleeved shirts, dresses, etc. I agree you shold bring along some sweaters or sweatshirts for going outside.

layer. Unfortunately you really won't know what the weather will be like until a few days before (if even then). If there isn't a storm coming through, it could be sunny and quite nice.
