What kind of weather can we expect from thursday evening to saturday night around the airport,Warren, and Clinton Township? Also about 30 miles north of Detroit. We are coming in from Las Vegas,NV, a nice dry climate and not sure what to expect. This is not a pleasure trip. My husband's friend died suddenly tuesday morning. (6/14)

Will mosquitos be out looking for blood? (I haven't seen or heard a mosquito since leaving California years ago.) Will it be raining? I don't mind rain, but my husband hates driving in it.
I will check back here tomorrow since I have one more day before I have to hop on the dreaded plane. Only my second time going up there, and it still scares me.

I am sorry for your loss. Overall this time of year in MI is so beutiful. I think MI has one of the best summer climates. You may get some rain but the humidity in June is not that bad plus it will be a lot cooler then LV. At night if you are sitting outside you may have some mosquitos but if you are just going in and out of the car it is not much of an issue. If you put in the zip code on weather.com it will give you the forecast

The humidity is a lot compared to Vegas, even at these temperatures. I'd take 100' with 15' humidity over 80 here anytime.

It's a little cool for summer standards (low-mid 70s), but otherwise outside a little rain Thursday night the weather should be nice.

So if it's in the 70's, does it feel hot and sticky? When it's in the 70's where we live, I sometimes need a sweater. Depending on if it's low 70's. We are leaving on friday instead of thursday.
Thank you everyone for your very helpful answers. Always friendly people in Michigan from my experience.

Google "Detroit Weather". That should give you the info you need.

I know I can google it, but I prefer asking the people that live there. The weather can be wrong at times. I know they report it wrong most of the time here in Las Vegas. But thanks anyway.

It's not been hot here most days as of late. Air conditioning in the car, perhaps, but not in most houses at this temp. Two weeks ago it was 90-something, which here is not fun. Even I turned on the house AC and I almost never do that.

I have the same question. Im coming from Nashville, TN and will be there Thursday-Sunday. Right now it is the upper 60's, been that way since around 2 after a big storm, yesterday evening it was in the low 70's, 60's at night, very plesent a bit cool. By Sunday its sopossed to be back in the 90's here. Should I expect the same or cooler?
