Anthony Bourdain Detroit Sun 9pm ET/PT - YouTube

Also included 3 clips from the upcoming episode: Anthony Bourdain Parts Unknown Detroit - CNN.com

In other news, when the heck did Anthony Bourdain end up on CNN? Wasn't he on the Travel Channel? I'm kinda iffy about having a CNN logo there but then again I'm can't say I'm surprised.

Is this a promotion for an upcoming episode? Or a previous one? I'd love to see the full episode.

I just saw the title of this thread and had to come in although I've never been to your wonderful city. I am here to say that I can't stand this Anthony Bourdain joker. And I don't know why this dude has so suddenly become so popular.

He was a douch on the Travel Channel and even though I haven't watched him on CNN, I'm sure he's just as douchy.

You're in the minority on that one.

I'm a huge Bourdain fan.

You liking him doesn't put my opinion in the minority.

And describing oneself as a "huge Bourdain fan" strikes me as more than a little odd but whatev, knock yourself out.

I liked his No Reservations show though I only saw a few episodes. I like how sort of off the beaten path he takes going through cities and always seems to find the most amazing food.

One of the things I liked about No Reservations is that in addition to the food scene you get an accurate insight into everyday life in that country. The Lebanon episode which was shot when the Israeli military launched an air strike and the Haiti episode which focused on the devastation of the earthquake was particularly interesting.

Actually he was in Detroit earlier as part of a Rust Belt special episode featuring Baltimore, Buffalo, and Detroit.
