I am a househead also. Bad news is Detroit is Techno not house. You have to go to Chicago or Toronto for House. Detroit is just Techno, Trashy dark Rock and their brand of drug dealing Hip Hop. Detroit people are going to claim that they have a great music scene, but in reality, there is really not much to choose from.
