I was just wondering if anybody had this happen to them? Someone was trying to get donations for Beatty and Kilpatrick asking for cash, checks or anything that could be spent. Here is my problem, wasn't that the mayor saying that what happens between him and his wife stay between them? (of course WE know that is not the issue at hand, just for arguments sake) Why in the world would we not honor his wishes then? let them pay for his defense, after all it is between him and his wife, right?
Also, I didn't think the mayor could accept tips, would not this be considered a tip?

I'm in Los Angeles and I've read all about it...in a month or so I get to say he's my mayor...since he won't voluntarily step down.
