I'm looking to outfit my home with a back up sump pump system that runs off of water pressure. I currently rent out the house so I'm trying to do everything I can to protect my investment while I'm nowhere near the actual house
So personal recommendations would be great for either a plumber or a particular system.

I can give you eight plumbers not to use, but I do not know of one that I would recommend. The water back up pumps cost about $250 with about the same amount for installation, depending on how far away the nearest water line is. Do not get the cheapo water driven back up pump. Get the good one.
