Dr not making you check your sugars??? My husbands doctor said check it once a day 3 times a week. He was type 2 but not that severe. I can tell you this, if you drop weight you will see your numbers go down and maybe you can get off the diabetic meds. Not sure if that's true for everyone but it worked for my husband. It will be 1 year in july that he's off meds and he was diagnosed in 2008.
I was diagnosed with being pre-diabetic, but my Doctor doesn't make me check my blood sugar and I was not put on medications. I just need to change my eating habits and do cardio. I belong to a gym and doing different exercises or classes over there anyways. Read my other post pertaining to this issue and maybe it will help or I will get other suggestions for myself
