I'm a 61 year old Type 2 diabetic who recently started using Symlin in addition to Lantus and Novolog. I'm presently taking 10 units of Symlin plus 15 units of Novolog with meals. My normal Novolog dosage before starting Symlin was 25-45 units with meals. My daily Lantus dosage is 204 units per day split 3 ways. I'm seeing some good results even though I just started taking Symlin with breakfast and dinner on 04 January. I would like to hear from other Type 2 insulin dependent diabetics who also use Symlin in addition to their normal insulin(s). Thanks!
