I need suggestions for low or no carb snacks that will not make a huge mess in the car for vacation. My son is 7, and we'll be doing a lot of driving, trying not to stop too much. We're taking cheese sticks, peanut butter/crackers, and am looking for sugar-free fruit snacks... anyone have any ideas?

Thanks!

~D

Pretty much all "sugar-free" snacks are like this. That's why I'm wondering if anyone knows about anything I'm forgetting...

How about fresh veggies, like baby carrots, cherry tomatoes, celery with peanut butter, or cucumber slices. Bring along a small cooler. Throw some drinks in too (bottled water, milk).
Trail mix with nuts, yogurt and seeds. Check the label, contents and nutrition can really vary.
