Are you breastfeeding? I agree with those who said that could be it. I've had and nursed 7 babies and all of the baby weight didn't go away until I weaned my last one.

Good luck! I know how frustrating it can be.

I actually have a few friends that have P90X, so maybe I'll ask them if I can borrow it. I hear it kicks your butt, but really works!

Try to cut out most processed foods. I watched the documentary "Corn King" and it really opened my eyes. 90% of all processed foods have a type of corn in them mostly high fructose corn syrup. The corn that is used in processed foods have been genetically altered to where you couldn't even eat that corn off the farm and tastes like chalk because it is raised for processed foods and feeding cows and chickens in the farm industry. It doesn't even resemble the nutritional content of corn 70 yrs ago. If you drink a soda, you are drinking a very nutrition void cup of corn. If you go to fast food the beef is corn fed, the bun is all corn, fries all corn (absorbed by corn oil), and soda all corn. You left with eating a huge amount of starch. Cows that are feed grass have a siginificant amount less of saturated fat than corn fed. Our bodies were not meant to eat this way therefore a lot of us are obese. Some blame introducing this sub corn into all of our processed foods are to blame for obesity and the rise of diabeties. Our pancreas cannot process this amount of starch for such a large amount of time, so it gives out. If you do some research on the food industry it will turn your mindset around.

I came home from work today and figured out what I'm wearing on Thursday (yes, I plan ahead...I don't have time to do that in the morning) AND my pre-pregnancy pants fit me nicely again! I'm back to my original size apparently! So, my goal is to drop one more size by December! Just had to tell everyone who resonded b/c I did it and didn't even know!

Once you start working out you can no longer rely on the scale as your only measure of 'weight loss'. You may have lost inches but because muscle weighs more than fat you can still be the same weight. How your clothes fit should be your gauge from now on.

Try eating a well-balanced diet of whole foods, drink lots of water, and keep active. Don't obsess about your weight, but do avoid any dessert-type foods, or heavy foods. If it isn't a vegetable, a lean meat, or a whole grain think of it as poison.

If you still don't lose weight, pay attention to your portions, and eat smaller amounts.

When you start thinking you are hungry: Chew a piece of sugarless gum. Drink a cup of hot tea. Go for a walk.

Good luck.

I have been in this situation twice and I can share my own experience. Since I didn't have any help, I was VERY busy raising my kids. There were not enough time to eat, sleep and even think about myself, so I was eating 2 meals per day, walking with the stroller few times per day up and down the hill (we lived on the hill). I not only lost all my baby weight but lost few extra pounds that were not planned. My point is: keep yourself extra busy.

Good luck!
