In the health industry nicotine is widely considered to be THE most addictive drug. Why do you think so many people try to quit smoking and fail?

Like I said, I tried it and am in no way addicted. I found it to be inferior to caffeine. With caffeine I get the effects for quite a while, even when I am done with my coffee. With nicotine, shortly after I take the patch off or stop chewing the gum the stimulant effect goes away. I guess that is why smokers have to puff their filthy ciggies every few minutes.

I didn't even use nicotine gum when I quit smoking years ago. No way would I use nicotine as a diet aid - I know only too well how addictive that junk is.

I am not a smoker...but I occasionally use the nicotine patch as a stimulant, feel no addiction developing.

According to me this is not the correct way to lose weight, everyone’s body is different. The body of few men can resist anything and vice versa. So I don’t think that nicotine is the solution for any one, whether you are a smoker or not. This is totally injurious to health. You may become addict of it

I wouldn't do it.

You are desperate? What have you tried?

Have you tried cutting out junk food, cooking more (healthy cooking), cutting out sweets, exercising, cutting out soda and drinking water, etc?

Only thing that worked for me is South Beach Diet

Good advice cutting out sugary, processed, or otherwise highly processed foods.

I don't like how The South Beach Diet re-introduces bread in Chapter 4. Simple carbs should be avoided.
