I posted a few weeks ago about my problems with weight loss due to prescription medicines.

I have started eating oat bran and to my surprise I have started to lose weight. I continue on my Weight Watchers plan but usually eat Cracklin Oat Bran or Oat Bran with yogurt. I am happy that it is starting my weight lost again.

Has anyone else had this experience with oat bran?

I am sure if I came off my medicines I would lose more weight but for now I am going to continue with the oat bran, exercise and Weight Watchers.

Oat bran itself is not making you lose weight. A couple of things could be happening. Oat bran has a lot of fiber and fiber helps make you feel fuller so you may be eating less. Also you are probably more regular now with your bathroom habits and that too will make you weigh less. But the oat bran itself is not burning fat. Keep it up if it is aiding you. Fiber is a great thing to be eating.

I am eating the same because I am drinking 2-3 cups of coffee in the morning which really reduces my appetite even more than the oat bran. I 've had regular bathroom habits though but it may be cleaning out the colon more.

I love oat bran, it has helped me too! Add psyillum husks and your living in the bathroom!
