I think you're gonna confuse some Americans with "Tea: 600 calories"

YAY - sounds like this challenge is off to a good start!

I'm steadily losing 1-2 pounds a week. Today is my weigh in day. I think I've lost about 1.5 pounds - we'll see! I was hoping to lose two pounds but I really pigged out Saturday!

LOL that's true - I started Weight Watchers in July! They gave us this challenge in last week's meeting. I think most people in our group focused on the ten pound goal (anywhere from .5 to 2 pounds per week is the WW goal).

Don't worry though - most people who START a diet lose 2-4 pounds a week the first couple of weeks, so I am sure someone is going to pass me by pretty quickly!

Heheheheheheh...I'm about to get my period, so I'll be down 5 pounds by next week.

LOL!

Cheater! LOL

I'm really hoping my extra 0.6 last week was from the Mexican food and chips I ate the day before weigh in.

I will join you in staying on my diet until Thanksgiving. Actually I started on October 1st and am staying on my diet for six months. I may extend this to a year or maybe for the rest of my life. I went to the Mayo Clinic website and gathered that to maintain my ideal weight I would need to eat about 1300 calories for the rest of my life, not counting the activity I do. So here is my plan that is somewhere between 900 and 1300 per day. The idea is that if I keep it below 1300 calories, at least I will not gain. I am not counting calories though, I have an eating formula that automatically does that for me.

Breakfast is Starch and a banana and black coffee.

Dinner is about 7 ounces or less of meat, starch, a small salad and water.

Snack-fruit of choice.

Supper is large serving of baked vegetables using about 2 tsp. of oil to bake. Or sometimes I prepare vegetables in a pot and use a biscuit or hushpuppies with them. I really like stir-fry type frozen vegetables prepared in the oven at 400 degrees for 30 minutes.

This diet is for medical reasons as well as weight loss. You will probably notice there are no milk products included as suggested by my doctor.

Dinner and supper can be switched to lunch and dinner just by switching meal plans.

Give a short time when going to this website and the Mayo Clinic Healthy Weight Pyramid tool will pop up.

Don't think of it as a diet think of it as a new way of life and a new way of eating. I never liked the word Diet.

Ok, I started and fell off already, I'll restart in the morning, darn these busy days, picked up food on the way home, ate too much.

I'm going to plan my food for tomorrow, I need to have things with me so I don't hit the drive thru.
