3/4 cup of oatmeal with soy milk, flax seed meal and 3 walnut halves, 3/4 cup fruit - usually fresh grapefruit, 1/3 small banana and a few blueberries...and lots of water...I eat this same thing every day - it isn't a huge breakfast.
yeah, not that big. Have you ever tried Sprouted whole grain (gluten free) english muffins? They sell them at Whole Foods - sooooo good. What if you added some eggs in?
Glad you're okay now, and good job. Weight loss and changing eating habits is hard for people and definitely a sensitive topic for some. Let me know if any of the 20 techniques I posted work for you. If not, I have 20 more that can surely do the trick.

Did you miss the part where cattnapp said he's vegan? If he added eggs in, he wouldn't be eating vegan now, would he?
I can't even begin to respond to the rest of the - garbled disjointed nonsense I've seen here. Words fail me.
Smart bacon contains wheat gluten. The person you're responding to has already stated he can't have wheat gluten. He's also already doing a fine job, and doesn't need your help. He doesn't need to change his diet at all and in fact, most of the changes you recommend in your first post, would send him to the hospital because he *has to be on a restricted diet due to health issues*. He took the bait to see what kind of nonsense you'd spout. And as expected, you came through with flying colors.
Just made the best breakfast ever and thought I would post it to all my fans:
bowl of blackberries
1 organic spelt (gluten free) whole grain english muffin with, toasted with organic butter
3 egg organic omelet cooked in organic butter, with a little onion, 1/2 red pepper, handful organic spinach
bolthouse farms green goodness drink
By the way folks, I am a woman not a man. Anonchick - you pay attention that is for sure - you are absolutely correct, I am vegan and I have Celiac disease.

Anyone who says that genetics doesn't have a HUGE impact on weight is fooling themselves. I have said this before on CD, but I'll say it again. My grandmother lived a very hard life. They "rarely" ate meat and she worked HARD raising 7 children and supporting her husband working in the fields, often from sun-up to sun-down. She ate *no* processed foods and did not even know what a fast food restaurant was. She was as fat as she was tall. My father inherited her genes and, alas, I inherited his.
To illustrate this point even more, take a look at the Christmas picture for Branson entertainer, Jim Stafford. His two children are adopted. Jim and his wife are *very* health-conscious and physically active. You can bet that they have the best food that money can buy which includes a private chef. Jim's son has *always* had a terrible problem with obesity. You can see from the picture below that he is still very large. There is no explanation for this other than his genetic predisposition to be obese.
